Indian Dance
Temasek Polytechnic Indian Dance Group (TPIDG) passionately explores a diverse range of Indian dance styles, from the grace of Bharatanatyam to the vibrant energy of Bollywood. Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs Premela Balakrishnan, Director of Rudram Arts, our dedicated dancers seamlessly blend tradition with innovation, captivating audiences both within our school community and on grander stages. Our journey is marked by remarkable performances at prestigious events, including the Largest Mass Performance of Indian Traditional Folk Arts in Singapore (13 July 2024), setting two new national records. From school functions to nationwide celebrations, TPIDG remains committed to excellence in performance and the rich heritage of Indian dance. Join us on this journey of cultural celebration and artistic expression - where every step tells a story, and every movement resonates with passion. |
